Theatre Conspiracy embarked on its mission to create theatrical cross-currents by producing plays written in languages other than French or English by staging Nobel Prize winner Gao Xingjian’s North American premiere of Fugitives at Performance Works on Granville Island from March 28th to April 6th, 2002.
Fugitives featured Vancouver actors Hiro Kanagawa, Norman Yeung and Valerie Sing-Turner. Soundscape by Amos Hertzman, set and lights by Jamie Skidmore and costumes by Andrea Hiestand. Directed by Richard Wolfe.
