Description of experience and set:

At the beginning of the show, before you enter the space, you will be kitted with a zip-up haptic vest - they vibrate from time to time during the show. The vests can be adjusted to size. You will also receive over the ear headphones.
You will be given a flashlight that is already turned on.
When you enter the theatre the set is made up of two corridors of seating. Similar to the front of a bus, the seating in each corridor is made up of two long lines of chairs that face each other.
In the middle of each corridor is a long mound of sand, approximately one foot wide, that stretches the full length of the corridor. The mound of sand will lie approximately one foot away from your feet when you are seated.
You will hear instructions verifying whether your equipment is working. You will then be asked to turn off your flashlight.
You can turn off your flashlight by pressing the button on the top of the flashlight (near the clip) once.

There are two mysterious, unnamed figures that perform a short ritual with sand and incense. They then lead the audience into the performance space. They are dressed in all black. Their identities are concealed from the audience, covering their faces with black scarves.

Most of the experience takes place in near to complete darkness. There are six lighting moments and one performance moment. They are for aesthetic texture, not narrative purposes. Here is a description of the world they evoke:
The fog is thick, the night sky is pitch black.
The cool blue light of the moon shines above you.
When swimming at sea, your head dips under the water. The light of the moon glimmers on the surface just above your head. The water mists you as a light breeze passes over your body.
Later on shore, two mysterious figures gradually appear and kneel in the sand. They will place their flashlight in the sand creating a vertical beam of light shining up through the haze.
They will gesture for you to join them. Click on your flashlight and face it (light up) in the sand in front of you. The sand is on the floor approximately one foot in front of your feet. If you’d rather not reach down to the sand, you can just hold your flashlight pointing it light up in your hands.
